The Marketing Assistant will work closely with the Marketing Manager to develop and implement marketing strategies that raise awareness of our organization and its initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for promoting health and safety in child care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans to promote Healthy Child Care Colorado's services and initiatives
• Create and edit marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, social media content, and website content
• Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns, including email marketing and social media advertising
• Monitor and analyze metrics and trends to assess the effectiveness of marketing efforts
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for promoting our organization
• Assist in the management of the organization's social media presence, including content creation and community engagement
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure marketing efforts align with organizational goals and objectives
• Support event planning and execution, including attending events to assist with marketing efforts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the nonprofit or child care sector
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media platforms
• Knowledge of email marketing and digital advertising is a plus
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Passion for promoting health and safety in child care settings
