Job Description

Position Overview : We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Product Owner who will work closely with cross-functional teams to define and execute the product roadmap. You will serve as a critical bridge between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring the successful delivery of features that align with our company's vision and customer needs. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical understanding, customer empathy, and business acumen to drive product success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Vision & Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Backlog Management: Own and prioritize the product backlog, translating business requirements into actionable tasks for the development team.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders, gathering input and ensuring alignment on product features, timelines, and goals.
  • Agile Leadership: Lead sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring the development team is clear on priorities and timelines.
  • Market Research & Customer Insights: Conduct market research and engage with customers to understand trends and pain points, integrating these insights into product development.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure smooth product development and delivery.
  • Roadmap Development: Create and maintain a product roadmap that reflects both short-term and long-term goals, ensuring flexibility and adaptation to changing priorities.
  • Feature Delivery: Oversee the delivery of product features, ensuring they are developed on time, within scope, and to a high quality.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Use data and analytics to drive product decisions, tracking performance metrics and iterating on features to continuously improve the user experience.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role, preferably in SaaS, ed-tech, or travel-related industries.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience leading development teams through the full product lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to achieve product goals.
  • Experience in conducting market research and using customer feedback to inform product strategy.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A passion for international education and a commitment to improving global education systems.
  • Technical understanding of software development processes is a plus.
    Experience with product management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience working in the B2B SaaS industry.
  • Prior experience in international education or travel management sectors.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX best practices and design thinking methodologies.
  • Familiarity with data-driven decision-making processes and tools
