We're looking for a **Sr. Engineer** to join our team. The Sr. Engineer will design, develop, and maintain BI/ML/AI solutions that empower data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, translating business needs into technical specifications and building intuitive data models using industry-leading BI tools like Power BI and Qlik. Your contributions will be essential in turning complex data into actionable insights and powering our data-driven decision-making processes. **Responsibilities** **:** + Mastery of SQL is essential for querying, transforming, and optimizing data within Snowflake + Data Warehousing Concepts: Deep understanding of data warehousing principles, architectures (ETL/ELT), and OLAP systems + Cloud Computing: Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (GCP), as Snowflake is a cloud-native data warehouse + Scripting and Programming: Strong skills in Python are highly valued, as well as familiarity with Java or Scala for building data pipelines and integrations + ETL Tools and Data Integration: Experience with ETL tools like Talend, Informatica, Matillion, or dbt for data ingestion, transformation, and migration + Performance Tuning: Ability to optimize queries and manage resources for efficient, scalable data processing + Data Modeling: Experience designing logical and physical data models to support analytics and reporting + Security and Compliance: Knowledge of data security, access control, encryption, and compliance with industry regulations + API Development: Familiarity with integrating Snowflake with other systems via APIs **Skills & Qualifications:** + Bachelor's in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or related field (or equivalent experience). + 2-4 years of experience working in machine learning, data science, or related roles. + Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java Script + Strong experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn). + Familiarity with deep learning architectures and techniques (e.g., CNNs, RNNs, transformers). + Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and model evaluation methods. + Experience working with data manipulation libraries like NumPy, pandas, and data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn). + Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. + Expertise in AI and machine learning to drive innovative solutions and enhance business operations through Agentic AI technologies + Proven experience as a BI Developer or in a similar data-focused role. + Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI or Qlik. + Experience working with cross-functional teams to capture business requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. + Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience in deploying machine learning models into production environments. + Experience in Generative AI (open AI, Anthropic, Bedrock, Gemeni, Azure Open AI) + Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks like Spark or Dask. + Knowledge of MLOps practices and model versioning tools (e.g., MLflow, DVC, Kubeflow). + Experience with NLP, computer vision, or time-series forecasting is a plus. **Wage Range** **:** The annual starting salary for this position is between $ **80,809 - $118,519** annually.
