As a Senior Scrum Master supporting a high-visibility program with a Randstad client in Washington, DC, you will lead Agile teams in the successful delivery of large-scale, complex initiatives involving cross-functional departments and external vendors. This role requires deep expertise in Scrum and Agile frameworks, strong facilitation and coaching skills, and a proven ability to guide teams through the full project lifecycle-from planning through implementation. You will serve as a servant leader and coach, enabling collaboration, removing impediments, and driving continuous improvement to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Coach teams on Agile principles and Scrum best practices to foster a high-performance culture
Shield teams from external disruptions and resolve conflicts to maintain focus and flow
Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to ensure backlog refinement and prioritization
Monitor and communicate team progress, using metrics such as velocity and burndown charts
Manage Jira boards, tasks, user stories, dashboards, and reports to support sprint execution
Identify and eliminate roadblocks to keep teams on schedule and aligned with business goals
Promote Agile maturity and continuous improvement across teams and the organization
Coordinate across multiple departments and external vendors to support integrated delivery
Support the implementation of SAFe and DevOps practices, including pipelines and test planning
