You will have the opportunity to contribute to the design and validation of RF and wireless systems across Apple's newest products including iPhones, iPads, Macs, Watches and others. You will help advance a system that guarantees the most efficient, consistent wireless performance across all of Apple's products in large volumes. To design such a system requires excellent fundamentals in wireless systems and communications theory as well as sound programming practices. **Description** As an RF Systems integration engineer, you will be engaged in the design validation for different wireless technologies right from the prototyping phase to mass production. You will be involved in the design of calibration routines and test algorithms and contribute to a multi faceted test SW suite. You will collaborate with chipset manufacturers, test equipment vendors as well as our in-house antenna and RF hardware design teams to analyze wireless performance data and tackle the plethora of technical challenges it takes to deploy groundbreaking wireless features with impeccable quality. **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BS) with a minimum of 2 years of industry experience in RF/Wireless technology within sectors such as Consumer Electronics, Semiconductors, or Aerospace + Strong foundational knowledge in one or more of the following areas: RF Transceiver Architecture, Communication Theory, and RF Parameters, Software System Design + Hands-on experience with RF/wireless test equipment and proficiency in conducting RF measurements + Proficiency in writing clean, efficient, and well-structured code in one or more programming languages, such as C, C++, or Python **Preferred Qualifications** + MSEE is preferred + 5+ Years of industry experience or equivalent + Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and scalable software design principles + Recent experience in Software System Architecture Design + Recent experience in developing test solutions for emerging and current wireless RF standards, including Wi-Fi (802.11xx), Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, UWB and 5G + Familiarity with tools and processes that enable large-volume manufacturing of RF/wireless technologies + Ability to break down complex problems and evaluate tradeoffs between potential solutions + Self-motivated, with a strong drive to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment + Excellent written and verbal communication skills **Pay & Benefits** At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $121,900 and $214,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
