The Programmer Analyst 6 will work as a contract resource for the State of Michigan - Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) in a staff augmentation capacity supporting the Bureau of Audit and Long-Term Care divisions for the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). This position involves project analysis, application design, coding, testing, implementation, and maintenance across multiple technologies, with a focus on Federal Medicaid programs. The role requires acting as a liaison between MDHHS, DTMB Customer Service, other state departments, and outside vendors on Medicaid Reimbursement projects, working as a developer and analyst in an agile environment.

Responsibilities:
- Write well-designed, testable code using Angular, ASP.NET, C#.NET, XAML, HTML, and SQL Server.
- Develop business application components using Object-Oriented principles with C#.
- Develop and maintain SSRS reports.
- Design and develop RESTful Web Services using Web API framework.
- Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC), including gathering requirements and writing functional/technical specifications.
- Design logical and physical database models.
- Develop database objects including stored procedures and functions.
- Troubleshoot issues using TSQL Scripts.
- Tune SQL queries and scripts and Entity Framework models.
- Integrate software components into a fully functional software system.
- Maintain source code using source control and baseline software versions.
- Build war files for deployments.
- Develop software design documents and work with stakeholders for review and approval.
- Develop prototypes and mockups for user review and approval.
- Create flowcharts, screen layouts, and documentation to ensure logical flow of system requirements.
- Lead artifact reviews with peers and other entities to ensure IT solutions and applications.
- Adhere to DTMB and agency policies, standards, and guidelines.
